The monthly meter charge, based on meter size, is to be collected whether or not there is water usage.
- $10.00 per Month, per Dwelling, (plus an additional $10.00 per Month per allocation registered with the District for additional units on the same meter).
- Meter sizes 3/4", 1", 11/2", 2" for Residential Services: $10.00 per Month.
- Meter size 2": $30.00 per Month.
- Meter size 3": $45.00 per Month.
- Meter size 4": $60.00 per Month.
- When residential uses are combined with and take service through a commercial service, the Monthly per Dwelling Fee will also apply, in addition to the commercial meter charge.
Monthly Billing Formula: Monthly Meter Charge
(with NO water included) + gallons used. The listed Rate is per 1,000 gallons for convenience. The actual Billing and Record of Usage on your monthly bill will be per actual gallons consumed.
- The billing is in ascending block conservation rate so the more you use the more the additional water costs per gallon. The tiered rate offers the customer a great deal of control over their
individual monthly water charges.
- For the first gallon through 4,000 gallons the usage charge is $3.75 per 1,000 gallons.
- For any usage between 4,001 and 8,000 gallons the usage charge is $4.00 per 1,000 gallons.
- For any usage between 8,001 and 12,000 gallons the usage charge is $4.50 per 1,000 gallons.
- For any usage between 12,001 and 20,000 gallons the usage charge is $5.00 per 1,000 gallons.
- For any usage over 20,001 gallons the usage charge is $5.50 per 1,000 gallons.
For example, if a dwelling with one allocation uses 12,500 gallons per month, the rate would be calculated as follows:

Important note: for those of you with registered second, third, or multiple units (mobile home parks) for which you are
paying an additional monthly fee of $10 per each unit, the following tier structure will apply:
If you have two units your first tier increase will be at 2X 4,000= 8,000 gallons. The second tier will be from 8,001 to
16,000 gallons. The third tier will be from 16,001 to 24,000 gallons. If you have 3 units or 50 units, each tier will be multiplied by the number of units for which you are paying the $10.00 monthly fee.
Due to the moratorium, no new additional units will be accepted at this time.
IRRIGATION RATES:The monthly meter charge, based on meter size, is to be collected whether or not there is water usage
- Meter size 2": $20.00 per month plus mandatory pre-purchase of 1 acre foot.
- Meter size 4": $40.00 per month plus mandatory pre-purchase of 2 acre feet.
All irrigation water sales will be at the rate of $225.00 per acre foot. Irrigation water will be metered and sold in 1,000 gallon units
@ approximately $0.69 per 1000 gallons. Irrigation water accounts will be billed monthly at the monthly meter rate plus 1/12 of the mandatory pre-purchase amount plus any usage over the pre-purchased amount.
For example, if a property with a 2" meter uses 4 acre feet per year, the rate would be calculated as follows:
